Know your Clothing Certifications with EcoWolfe

As a socially responsible brand, Ecowolfe is committed to incorporating sustainability into all of our products. This is done through our processes and suppliers, often ensuring that they conform to international certification standards.

GOTS, OCS Blended and OCS 100 Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) are recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres.

These define high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain, including restricting the use of chemical substances and requiring compliance with social criteria.

OCS Blended applies to goods that contain a mix of organic cotton with other material.

The OCS 100 tracks the purchase, handling and use of 100% certified organic cotton fibres in yarns, fabrics and finished goods through the use of transaction certificates for factories that don’t yet comply to the GOTS standard.

Oeko tex OEKO-TEX¨ Standard 100 Class II is a globally uniform testing and certification system applying to raw materials used in textiles, intermediate and end products, at all stages of production.

Textile products may be certified according to OEKO-TEX¨ Standard 100 only if all components meet the required criteria without exception.

Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent non-profit organisation working with companies and factories to improve labour conditions for textile and garment workers.

FWF tracks the improvements made by the companies it works with. And through sharing expertise, social dialogue and strengthening industrial relations, FWF increases the effectiveness of the efforts made by companies.

At EcoWolfe we embrace sustainable methods that are based on ethical and green principles.
